Super Beliefs vs Super Suspicions

Superstitions become resistances in our life that are hard to put away.

Many people believe in superstitions, even though they consciously know that it is illogical to believe in it. There are two types of people that believe or are forced to follow superstitions, they may or may not know that what they are doing is actually wrong. I know many of you know the main reason for this is that they have stopped asking questions such as why is this true? Some are those who have been following these for a very long time, but when they realise they are wrong they convince themselves that some respected person or their parents told them this so it must be true and it must be followed.

In my opinion,

"Superstition is a counterintuitive statement that sets a trap to make you believe that you are not supposed to be doing what you intent to do."

Just like I said before there are two persons who will take superstitions account in their lives:-

  • A Power Ranger trying to defeat mystic mysterious monster who has controlled their minds in thinking all the crazy supertitions they have just heard in their life but never believed.
  • But now they are taking it into consideration every time they try to fight with the monster in their minds.
  • In this 'the mystic monster' is trying to make their beliefs match his own beliefs.
  • This is what I call Forced Superstitions.

The other part is pretty common I am sure you remember it pretty well:-

  • Remember not cutting your nails every Tuesday alternatives or not knocking on a wood.
  • It is a belief that has been passed onto generations upon generations but when you start with the question Why? You will never be able to answer.
  • It is always unnecessary or illogical when seen from your mind.
  • When you ask them why we follow it, the reason is always related to supernatural beings.
  • This is what is very common and it is called Fictional Superstitions.

Explanations and Consequences!

Anyway how cool these sounds they are not good, and I mean it! There are reasons why people believe them, but the consequnces of it are not good. We in all our lives have been told what to think and not how to think. And then we ask why is our life like this. People get baffled on small little things and don't know how to deal with their problems.

There could be reasons why people do it.

>Fear Factor<

People are often deceived that something bad is going to happen if they overlook some few factors.
They are often myths of the past.

>Control<

Now I know this could be a conspiracy theory but some people try to force their beliefs onto others just because some people don't like free wills of other people.
It is definately a theory but listen, think of a painting you don't like it. You may keep this thinking to yourself but some people don't like other people to like the painting if they don't like it. These guys could be big politicians, celeberities or normal humans. They want to rule the world, probably.

Remedies

  • The answer is in the title itself stop trusting and start asking.
  • People are afraid of arguing to those they love or any person. It is not just about you or them, you have to understand asking why, how, when is not wrong.
  • "Becoming clueless is what should do from the very start." Something I read.

"Myths of the past becoming facts of the present."
