Spoon-Feeding
Right now I envy youtubers because the topic of today is so easy to make you understand through a video, but wait a minute! I get the feeling this is the same idea we are going to be talking about.
Imagine yourself playing chess with a person who has won against you as many times as you have in 10 games. You will definately lose or win but won't be ahead of him. You won't be able to beat a player who has played same number of games, won the same and lost the same but against different adverseries.
If I am able to make you understand this correctly then this is the art of learning or should I say the art of levelling up.
Think of your Worst Teacher
There are two types of teachers or Gurus, one who tell you the basics and ask you to apply those basics in a a basic manner and then in an advanced manner. The real(or should I say lazy ) problem comes when they tell you to revise or do some things on your own - a homework probably. The second, the most beloved teacher by you guys is the one who tells you each and everything line by line. Makes you understand everything and I mean literally everything. A teacher like this is good no doubt but you won't be able to tap into your real potential. The first one is better ofc but sometimes these teacher forget to encourage you and tell you that you have to do this all by yourself and nobody will help you until unless there is a doubt.
This is also a reason why people give up so early in different aspects of their lives. If you are able to understand or do any activity even barely like 10-20% then say to yourself, "I can do this. on the condition that I am ready to put the other 80 percent in this job." I know. It depends on what you do , you will not be able to succeed in the things that you want to do or are willing to do.
Trust yourself. You can do it."To achieve something in a specific field we have to stick to a time table which removes our kick in life, to fill the absence of it we are required to give self-input to the work . This is also called Grinding yourself or simply hard work ."
P.S.- Kick is the excitement of doing sth new. In the end remember only you are the one to blame stop blaming anyone.
Spoon feeding... well, I see today's whole world is a result of finding different ways of getting it... But, what has happened must have happened because the world asked for it, isn't it? People want to be spoon fed because they just want to be fed. And while they are being fed, they can do whatever they think is important to them... They just want to be fed. Maybe the problem is not being totally honest with ourselves with what we actually want. We just want the end result. And our reasons for wanting the end result are dishonest. We don't want the results enough. We don't want to enjoy the process of feeding. We don't even want to be fed! We just want satisfaction. And we get it, in the form of distractions. We get what we want. We are just doing this out of necessity. We expect goals from ourselves just because we have to. If we wanted it enough, we would sacrifice anything for it. Maybe both the type of teachers are wrong. They should be honest enough to the subject and explain why to study it? Maybe finding out why we want what we want is the way to eliminate spoon feeding.
ReplyDeleteMaybe... essential spoon feeding is required. Conscious spoon feeding to stop the need to be spoon fed.

ReplyDeleteYou are right actually there exists a wide variety of people, but there are subjects and also some side hobbies where people want to level up but they don't.
People aren't told the real reason to study. But this is the harsh truth of students which we can't deny that there are some subjects we have to face which aren't hard. There are subjects which people want to study but are definitely hard. But yes if a person is not studying for any competition he can do anything easily.
But competition does help you unlock your sleeping strength.
How much can you grind? It has benefits and Yes ofc people should have their reason or should I say the conscious reason.
